Anant Shri Vibhushit Yati Chakra Chudamani Dharma Emperor Swami Shri Karpatri Ji Maharaj
Abhinav Shankar Sarvabhuta Hriday Dharma Samrat Pujya Swami Shri Karpatri Ji Maharaj.
A young ascetic, detached sadhu, who took sanyaas in such a way that he dedicated his entire life to the service of Sanatan. A young ascetic, whose tapasya was such that he stood firm and unwavering with the flag of religion even in the face of severe challenges.
A scholar who studied so much that he composed many cultured texts like Ram Rajya vs Marxism, Vedarth Parijata, Ramayana Mimansa, Shri Vidya Ratnakar, Vedic Nationalism and Sanyas Advaita Darshan and he was the ocean of all scriptures. A religious saint who guided Sanatan in such a way that the wider Hindu society respectfully gave him the title of “Dharma Samrat”.
Today we are paying our tributes to the feet of the most revered Dharma Samrat Swami Hariharanand Saraswati Maharaj Ji, who was born to strengthen the thread of Sanatan Dharma in Devbhoomi India, whom the whole world knows today as Pujya Karpatri Maharaj Ji.
Born in a small village in Uttar Pradesh on the second day of the Shukla Paksha of the month of Shravan in the year 1907, Swami Ji was named Hari Narayan by his parents.Child Hari Narayan was very bright, serious and religious from childhood.
He started taking a keen interest in the Vedas, Puranas and Sanskrit scriptures at an early age.In his childhood itself, he had resolved to renounce domestic life, which later took him on the path of renunciation and protection of Sanatan Dharma.
In the year 1930, he received the initiation of Dandi Sanyas. From here, he was named Hariharanand Saraswati. Also, he became famous by the name Karpatri due to taking food in a vessel held in the hand.
He founded the All India Dharma Sangh and Ram Rajya Parishad to protect Vedas, cows, culture and Hindu religion. He contributed significantly to the service of Sanatan through activities like opposing the Hindu Code Bill in 1951, participating in the general elections in 1952, cow protection protest movement in 1960 and Ramjanmabhoomi Mukti Sangharsh in the 1970s.
He was a rare saint who reached from politics to religion, from religion to philosophy and from philosophy to the people.Over time, the branches of the banyan tree of his philosophy spread throughout India through his religious disciples. His disciple Pujya Guruvar Dr. Laxman Chaitanya Ji Maharaj showed the light of knowledge to the Sanatan Dharmis throughout his life through the lamp lit by him to protect Sanatan Dharma. In the course of time, this lamp has become an immortal flame and is continuously shining in the Shri Karpatri Kalyan Ashram situated on the eastern bank of Maa Shipra in Avantikapuri Ujjain through his disciple Shri Prem Parmanand Ji Maharaj.
He was a Sanyasi,But the entire Sanatan resided within him. He was the heart of all beings. He was an ascetic who became an idea
He was a sage who became a Yugpurusha And a name which is an inspiration for the entire Sanatan society even today.”
